Festive Faux Candle Holders
Here’s a happy holiday craft that’s sure to make the season even brighter.
Use it as a centerpiece, light up your mantle, or make a bigger batch and invite holiday guests to take one home. It also makes a festive and safe bathroom candle. Bonus: No worries about remembering to blow these out at the end of the night. Let’s get glowing!
What You’ll Need:
- Clean FIORA® Toilet Paper Rolls
- Paint
- Paint Brushes
- Hole Punch
- Battery-Operated Candles
- Scissors
- Decide if you want different heights for your candle holders and cut accordingly.
- Choose festive colors, paint your toilet paper rolls, and let them dry. Acrylic paint takes a few hours to dry.
- Punch holes in your candle holders to let the light shine through. Holiday Hint: You may want to invest in a star-shaped hole punch to give your craft a more festive, seasonal look.
- Insert your battery-operated votive candles into the holders, dim the lights, and enjoy the warm ambience!
❄❄ In a Flurry Snowman ❄❄
In the market for a craft that’s fun and fast? Then you’ve come to the right place. We’d like you to meet our friend, Flurry the Snowman! Quite possibly, the simplest craft this side of the North Pole. This multi-purpose little man makes a cute tree ornament or festive doorknob hanger. Just be sure to hang him on the inside of your door, to protect him from wintery weather. We promise he won’t melt, though!
What You’ll Need:
- Clean FIORA® Toilet Paper Rolls
- White Paint
- Ribbon
- Glue
- String
- Cut the toilet paper roll into 3 equal pieces.
- Paint the pieces white and let them dry.
- Stack the pieces on top of each other to resemble a snowman and glue the 3 pieces together.
- Wrap a piece of ribbon around the neck where the top 2 pieces meet and glue them together to make a scarf. Ho-Ho-Pro Tip: Have different colors and patterns of ribbon on hand, so each member of your family can dress his or her snowman in their favorite color and personal style.
- To form a hanger, pull a piece of string through the top circle and tie it.
- That’s it! How “cool” is that?
